Release notes / 0.1.1
SiliconForge 0.1.1
This version is not the currently published download. Check available versions before updating.
A clearer first project, consistent versioned downloads and safer recovery.
Getting started
- Open an existing project, create a new one or make your own stream-register example from the welcome screen.
- Reach subscription status before choosing a project.
- Configure checks in the application with explicit source, top-module and testbench choices; inspect real diagnostics and results.
- See actionable loading, retry and read-only access messages rather than mistaking every failure for a source conflict.
Releases and subscriptions
- Numbered application releases, platform-specific packages and verification details available when you need them.
- Monthly managed-AI allowances also renew monthly on annual subscriptions; the desktop paid-through date stays separate.
- Product-scoped subscription management for payment details, invoices and renewal cancellation.
Review activation, offline access and account recovery. Updating the application is not another subscription purchase.
Before updating
- Save work, back up your projects and keep the prior installer.
- Download the package for your operating system and processor. Verify its checksum and signature, then close the app before installation.
- Launch normally, confirm version 0.1.1 and open a familiar project. Run a known check before returning to important work.
Requirements and boundaries
Application packages include platform-specific engineering tools with their own notices and licenses. The Engineering Tool Pack is not a separate download. Consult the source records matching your actual package; a 0.1.0 record must not be substituted for an unlisted 0.1.1 package.
Windows x64, Linux AMD64 and Linux ARM64 are separate packages. Check platform requirements and engineering tools; a valid installation does not guarantee a simulator is configured. New engineering work needs active paid access.
A signed Windows installer can still receive a SmartScreen uncommon-download warning. Signing and download reputation are different checks. Do not disable protection or assume a signature guarantees warning-free installation. If blocked, follow support guidance.
AI execution remains explicit and supervised. Review the attached context, approve a bounded plan and inspect actual changes and checks. A diagram or an AI summary does not establish engineering correctness.
